Target Clearance

It has been a quiet week following Easter.  Not a lot of stores running sales, no coupon inserts last week.  I finished this weeks shopping yesterday.

While at Target (Glen Carbon, IL), I did notice that they have Chap Stick, Listerine, and Halls Cough Drops on clearance.  I have some listerine coupons.  The best I could find were -$1.00 off.  At $2.11, this would be a pretty decent price $1.11, but I stocked up on the last Scope deal.  I couldn't find any Chap Stick or Halls coupons.  I can't remember the price on the Chap Stick items, but the Halls were $1.04.  If you have any old coupons that are not out of date, this could be a good opportunity to catch a really good deal.

I have only watched two episodes of the "extreme couponing", but the tips that I picked up were to check the clearance department and check the travel department.  Most coupons will have a restriction about size, but sometimes you get lucky and get coupons like the Degree ones in the 4/17 inserts.  Many people got free travel size deorderants $0.97 less $1.00 equals free deorderant.  I personally wanted to hold on to my mine.  I have $1.00 off at Target for Degree and the newspaper $1.00 offs.  I am hoping that Target runs a sell and I still have mine to cash in.  If not, can always pick up the travel size later.
