Shop N Save ran a newspaper ad advertising Kens Salad Dressing for 10/$10. Shop N Save limits your coupons to 50% of the items value. However, Wal-Mart does not....;) I price matched two at Wal-Mart this morning. Last week, their were $1/1 coupons for Ken's salad dressing. My final cost at WM was $0.03!!!
Also, Deals ran an ad this week. You have to be very careful to look at sizes in the Deals ad. They have a Colgate toothbrushes and paste on sale for $1. I was able to price match on Sunday. The toothpaste was regularly $3.18. I would have got it for a $0.25 with my $0.75 off any Colgate toothpaste coupon, but.... I didn't pay close enough attention. The coupons expired on Saturday, the day before. I decided to pass on this deal. I have enough free toothpaste at home to last a while. $0.25 would have been tempting, but wasn't going to pay $1. Couponing is making me cheap.
One last deal was at CVS. In their ad, they have Degree deoderant advertised for 2/$5. This does exclude Ultra and Ultra clear (would have to check the ad for the exact wording.) Anyhow, I went to CVS ready to buy 2 of the Motion Sense. I am actually going to need deoderant very soon. Well....Motion Sense was also excluded from the sale even though not included in the fine print. So..... I took my ad to Wal-Mart (gotta love WM) and price matched two of the Motion Sense, each at $2.50 a piece. I was even lucky and able to score a free one. They had one package that came with a free one wrapped to it for the same price. I used my B1G1 free coupon from Degree in this weeks paper and my $1.00 off Motion Sense coupon that came with my free sample. I paid $1.50 for both or $0.75 per item. Through the free bottle in and they were $0.50 a piece. Not bad for degree. Also if you did not receive a sample with coupon, there was a $0.75 off degree coupon in the paper.Happy shopping!
