Wal-Mart Shopping Trip 5/3 - Free KY and First Aid Kits!!

So as a last minute trip, I was running early and decided to stop in WM and try my KY coupons.

I was thrilled to find as promised KY for $2.62 when I had a $3.00 off coupon.  I also printed a $1.50 of two Johnson & Johnson bandage coupons from the same site as the KY.  I remember seeing a deal on Johnson & Johnson travel first aid kits.  They were $0.97 a piece.  With my $1.50 coupon, I paid $0.22 a piece for each.  I would have have bought a total of four, but they only had two.  As it is now, I will put one in each car.  I'd also like to have one in each diaper bag. 

I also cruised the clearance department.  Since the GC WM is remodeling, the clearance department is better than  most.  Pair a bargain with a coupon and you have a match made in heaven.  I noticed that they had Iron Man products clearanced.  I remembered my $5 off Iron Man coupon and ran out to my car.  Well apparently, I had decided against purchasing the Iron Man products and gave them away.  But I still had a printed $3 off coupon.  I found a little Iron Man guy for $5 on clearance.  Used my $3 off and paid only $2. I am starting to put up little toys like this for birthday parties.  Lets be honest ladies, as our kids start going to birthday parties, things get expensive.  Why pay more than you have to???

I also found a Coleman Parka in the clearance department.  I looked at it before when they had the rain suits and almost purchased one.  The parka is basically just the top part of the rain suit.  I shopping googled the price.  Brand new, these go for around $56.  WM had clearanced it to $46, $39, another unreadable price, and then $13.  Chuck has lost the top to his rain suit, so I figured this was a pretty good deal.

With the overage on my KY coupons, I got free KY and first aid kits!!!!  Not bad for a WM trip.

On the other side of things, I am sick and tired of being treated SO rudely at WM when I use coupons.  Today their complaint was that my coupon was printed on a label sheet rather than paper.  Didn't check the printer before I hit print, and you guys know the story from there.

I plan on filing a complaint with how the cashiers and customers are treated from a price matching and coupon scenario. Probably through a gift card at me and dismiss me, but I am beginning to think that I enjoy shopping other places more and that WM doesn't really need my dollars.  The only problem is that they are one of two stores open when I come into town before work.  I try to limit my after work trips and save that time for my family!!
